One and Done

Today marks another milestone in American history. I’m excited, relieved and curious. This afternoon it was announced that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be our new president and vice president. It’s been four long years and a new day is to come. I’m excited for the change and decency that will come with the new administration. Truth will be valued and not questioned. Science will be respected and not ignored. I’m relieved that its over and we can move forward. It’s been a long time since Tuesday and while the votes needed to be counted it still comes with a level of uncertainty. So thank you Pennsylvania and thank you Georgia, thank you mail in ballot and thank you to all the people that worked their ass off to get this done. We did our part doing little things in our local community but we knew Indiana would be red. Lastly, I’m curious. I’m curious to know what this change will do to the economy, our country and our future. As a small business owner I selfishly think of taxes, markets and industries. I hope we can get this second wave of CoVid under control and come January work our way back to normalcy. But tonight we celebrate, we remember and we move forward.
